✦Our Ministry✦

Being back home in the states now, Xavier had asked me, who is going to see 'our kids' while we're away? And, it struck me for the first time, that this orphanage ministry in Korea is not just my ministry, but our ministry. God has called us both. I tend to forgot Xavier and I are in this together, it is not only me serving the children. Xaviers role is just as vital, if not more important, for he has a great impact on the children. As a child, he can relate to the other children on their level and can communicate much easier with them since he speaks almost fluent Korean! They share a beautiful relationship, and the younger ones look up to Xavier as "hyung-ah," or "oppa," meaning "big brother." This is not just my ministry, it is our ministry. And what a blessing it is to serve with Xavier, seeing his impact on these young, little souls. This time in Korea has also certainly been shaping Xavier's personality and character, seen in his easygoing, flexible nature, as well as, his self-determination, discipline, and compassion for others.

God has called us both to this ministry and it has been one amazingly wonderful journey together!
