Praise JEHOVAH ROI, the God who sees us, reaffirms us, and shows us what we were created for.
Last weekend all the orphanages in Seoul participated in Field Day; a fun-filled, joy-filled jam-packed day of games, sports, relay races and activities... any child's grand dream! I joined in on the fun, cheering the kids on and cherishing sweet moments together. While watching these children in all their glory... running around, giggling, and being goofy, I couldn't help but think how they are just like any other child, so carefree and full of joy. But then, I found myself overcome with sadness knowing the fact that they are living without their parents and families. However, in those moments as I looked upon these children in all their gleeful delight, I caught a glimpse of their Daddy's love for them. Heavenly Papa gazing down upon them with tender eyes, full of love and compassion. God sees no difference. They are HIS beloved son and daughter, fully loved and cherished. He doesn't classify them based on the fact that they are not with their earthly parents. They belong to HIM. They have a glorious heavenly home and a Papa with arms open wide awaiting them. We may see them as orphans, but that day, God gave me new eyes for these children, to see them, really see their authentic and true identity as "called out ones," created with a purpose and on purpose. God has set these dear children in His family and they are deeply loved. God gave me new eyes for His little ones, and I, as well, no longer see them as orphans... they are high & noble sons and beautiful, beloved princesses of the Most High King!!!PTL God has made us and given us great worth!!
God sees us for who we have become in Christ and He will continue the good work He began in each of us (Phil 1:6)
